DARK EYE CIRCLE



Dark circles under eyes are one of the annoying beauty problems. There are several factors  can contribute to its development like stress, lack of sleep, some medications, pregnancy, hormonal changes , exposure to direct sun light, lack of some nutrients in diet , hereditary and ageing . Here are some helpful tips and home remedies to cure these under eyes dark circles in natural way.


CUCUMBER

Cucumber is one of the age old remedy for dark circles. It is one of the best astringent. Cucumber also performs well as a skin toner and helps to reduce oil in the skin.


Method of use 1

·         Take a small portion of cucumber 

·         Cut it as two circles

·         Place these slices over the eyes

·         Leave it for at least 15 minutes

Repeat it daily for best results and relaxes eye muscles as well.



Method of use 2

·         Take a small portion of cucumber in a bowl

·         Cut it and mash it with a fork

·         Extract juice from it

·         Soak two cotton balls in it

·         Place it over eyes

·         Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes

Repeat it daily for better results



CUCUMBER  AND   POTATO

This is the perfect mixture for treating dark circles. Both of them works very well even applied alone.

Method of use

·         Grate potato and extract its juice.

·         Grate some cucumber and extract its juice

·         Mix both of these mixtures in a small bowl

·         Dip two cotton balls in this mixture and keep it over the affected area for 15 minutes.

This will relax eyes and helps to remove dark circles quicker as well. Repeat this for a week,to see the difference.

 

LEMON JUICE

Lemon is well known for its bleaching effects. It is also very good for treating dark eye circles.


Method of use

·         Extract lemon juice and mix it with cucumber juice

·         Dip  a cotton ball in this mixture

·         Apply it over the area which is dark

Repeat it daily for 15 minutes and it gives very quick results, which is noticeable.


GREEN TEA

Green tea is rich in antioxidants and helps to reduce ageing signs. It also helps to reduce the dark circles.

Method of use

·         Make green tea by putting green tea leaves or green tea bag in boiled water

·         Pour this green tea in ice cube tray

·         Let it set

·         Apply these green tea ice cubes over the affected area

·         Use tea bags which is cold can also applied  for better results

POTATO

Potato is well known for its bleaching effects

Method of use

·         Take a medium sized potato

·         Slice this potato into two thin pieces

·         Place it over both eyes for about 15-20 minutes

Potatoes can be used instead of cucumber. It is also provides the same effect of cucumber. Repeat it daily for fast cure.

 

ROSE WATER

Rose water can be used as a primer. It is best if applied on clean face before doing make up. This helps to control oil production. It is one of the best remedy for dark eye circles.

Method of use

·         Take two cotton balls and dip it in rose water

·         Place it over eyes and leave it for 10-15 minutes

This gives cooling effect to eyes and removes dark circles. Continue to use it regularly to complete removal of dark circles.

 

ALMOND OIL

Almond oil is well known for the treatment of dark circles.

Method of use

·         Take a little almond oil

·         Use a cotton ball to massage it over the dark area

·         Leave it for two hours or if possible leave it over night

USEFUL TIPS TO GET RID OF DARK CIRCLES

·         Drink plenty of water every day

·         Get enough rest and sleep for at least 7-8 hours

·         Include proper nutrition in diet like more vegetables and fruits, which will help to detoxify

·         Do eye exercises every day. Open and close your eyes for 15 times and roll your eyes clockwise and anti-clockwise 15 times.

·         Wash your eyes closed with cold water

·         Avoid stress. Practice yoga and meditation, which helps a lot

·         Do not use chemical bleach around the eye area

·         Do not rub or scratch eyes
